Description
There are several bicycle rental shops in Lucca for cycling around town, on the historic walls and in the countryside. There are tennis, horse riding and golf facilities near Lucca and by the coast. In summer, there is rafting and canoeing on the River Serchio and in Winter, you can reach the ski slopes in Abetone in 90 minutes. Fishing boat charters are available from the marina in Viareggio.
