The beautiful Versilian Coast is just 30 minutes from Al Bastini. With its huge sweep of sand, Forte dei Marmi is one of the most stylish and glamorous resorts on the Tuscan coast. Forte enjoys celebrity status, has some superb restaurants, top class Riviera shopping and wonderful beach clubs (including our favourite, Bagno Angelo, where Al Bastini guests will receive excellent service). Viareggio, its marina and excellent fish restaurants are also worth visiting. Pietrasanta is a captivating town for viewing modern and traditional art, sculpture and fabrics and has some very good restaurants and cafes.
